2007 State Council Pinnacle Award

The Pinnacle Award Program is designed to recognize outstanding achievements in state council development and contributions to the advancement of effective human resource management.

The California State Council of SHRM was the first location in the Unites States  to develop an HR Certification specific to regulations and best practices within the state.  California is a very diverse state with very sophisticated and intensive labor law requirements.  Gina Maciula was recognized for her efforts in leading this new certification. 

All SHRM professional chapters and state councils are eligible to compete in this program. Winners will each receive a $1,000 grant presented at a state council meeting with special recognition in SHRM publications and during the Leadership Conference.  A compendium of Pinnacle Award nominations can be found by clicking on the links below.
